Clinton Whiting creates compositions that examine interpersonal relationships by considering the space and time we occupy, in order to describe the intangible connection felt between individuals. This investigation can be narrative driven, or simply inspired by form.
Clinton Whiting’s paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums in the United States and abroad, including the MACRO (Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Roma) Rome, Italy, Palazzo Ferrajoli in Piazza Colonna, Rome, Italy, the Springville Museum of Art, the Woodbury Museum of Art, the Rio Gallery, and the Texas Tech School of Art Gallery, in Lubbock Texas. Clinton Whiting was born in 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He received a BFA from the University of Utah and the “Diploma di Secondo Livello” from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, in Italy.
