BIO
Clinton Whiting is a multi-disciplinary artist, influenced by conceptual and modernist practices. Which can be attributed to studies while receiving a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Utah, and a Masters of Fine Arts from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, in Rome Italy. As well as his love of art history and an insatiable desire to learn. He is best known for his ability to capture movement of the figure through cubist composition and broken lines. The Utah based artist is occupied with exploring intangible connections between people. How these dynamic connections can be represented on the static surface of a canvas. He uses line as an intermediary between an idea and actual space.
Clinton’s work has been exhibited in solo and group shows across the United States and Internationally.
